This is a traditional, Indian printing technique that can be enjoyed by all abilities. It’s a fun and absorbing technique that produces surprisingly quick and unique results.

After experimenting with authentic Indian wood blocks, Ginn will show you how to cut your lino blocks and produce your very own original prints.

 

Mono printing is an exciting printing technique that appeals to all ages and abilities.

​

As the name suggests you create ‘one-off' prints, although two or even three images can sometimes be printed off.

​

We will use acrylic paints and a variety of tools to create interesting textures and shapes to produce unique images. These images can be either abstract or figurative depending on your creative style.

​

This technique allows for freedom of expression where there are no rules but, where happy accidents can occur!
