The Art of Tree and Flower Photography

Edward has illustrated books for the Eden Project, Kew Gardens, National Trust, and WWF focussing on plants - their beauty, importance, and conservation. 

Edward is an Author and illustrator of Ancient Trees -Trees That Live for a Thousand Years, Photographing Trees, Ancient Trees of the National Trust, and around another 20 titles. 

He has photographed in more than 50 countries, has been twice highly commended in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, shortlisted for Environmental Photographer of the Year and Garden Photographer of the Year, and his book “Ash” was Woodland Book of the Year in 2021.

 

He has wide experience in many types of photography and has run many courses on tree photography, flower photography, portraiture in natural light, low light and night photography, cityscapes, travel, and abstracts.  He caters to all levels from beginner to advanced and from those using digital cameras, phones, and even retro-film.
